Hello readers!
As the days go by and my trip to Peru is inching closer by the second, I continue to keep watching videos on YouTube and researching more and more about the things Peru has to offer its visitors. Having found a lot of interesting information already, ranging from food to culture, I impulsively continue to add more things to the full itinerary day by day. Below is a basic outline of our travel plans from place to place over the span of our trip, a little over two weeks.
July 3- July 7 Cusco
The night of July 3rd, we will take an overnight plane ride to Lima and then to Cusco. We plan to spend two more days in Cusco before our REI trip begins, starting from there.
July 7-July 13 REI Trip
Read in my next post a little about the REI trip we chose to take. This is the itinerary for the seven day tour. On July 13 we plan to stay one more day in Cusco.
July 14-July 17 Puno and Lake Titicaca
Our plan is to take the PeruRail from Cusco to Puno on July 14th. During our time there we will have a walking tour on the shores of the lake in Socca , a three hour kayak trip from Puno, and an overnight stay at an Amantani family home at Uros Island.
July 17-July 21 Lima
After one last day in Puno, our flight to Lima will be in the early evening. While we are in Lima we pre-booked a Colors and Flavors Tour, a City of Queens and Kings Tour, a Bizarre Tour, and a Shanty Town Tour. On our last day, we will take an overnight flight back home.
