Introduction

Hello! My name is Ella. You can read all about my blog and a little about me in the Ella section.

For my first post, I’ll start by introducing myself more in depth. I am freshman currently transitioning into my sophomore year of high school. This past year, I took a semester course in journalism and wanted to find an outlet for the skills I have acquired. I was still pondering over the idea when my parents announced that this summer we were going on a family trip to Peru. Thrilled and excited to be finally going to my number one bucket list location, I wanted to find some way to document my experiences. The answer to both my questions presented itself – a blog! Now beware, I am not the kind of person who quits their jobs, not that I have one, to travel the globe. Unfortunately, I am not able to go on endless vacations to different places in the world. My travels are typically 6 months to a year in-between, giving me zero content for the times when I am not away. So, instead of just travel, I want to focus my blog on all the experiences, small and big, that a person can find anywhere in the world if they look hard enough.

Based in the Philadelphia area, I plan to share my own quick tips, such as fun events happening during the week or hole-in-the-wall restaurants that should not be skipped. Now, I hope your up for an adventure, because this blog is gonna be packed with a handful of it. Follow me on this journey and get ready to expand your comfort zone!
